Steady Strides

Pediatric Physical Therapist
24 Years

My passion is helping children! I’ve been working as a pediatric physical therapist since 1999. My 24 years of experience has been in a variety of settings, including acute care and long term rehab in a children’s hospital, outpatient clinics, school-based and early intervention. Having this well rounded experience gives me a unique perspective on treating infants and children.

I’m an expert in motor development both in typically developing children and in those children who have neurological, orthopedic and genetic conditions. I believe every child is on a different path, moving at their own pace, and that each milestone they meet should be celebrated! I work with babies and kids with motor delays, torticollis and plagiocephaly, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome and traumatic brain injuries, but a diagnosis truthfully doesn’t matter to me. I treat each child as an individual to support their unique and personal developmental pathway.

I use my enthusiasm, as well as my pediatric expertise to provide the best treatment strategies to help little ones become independent movers. My goal is for each child to be able to explore their environment, learn and play with their family and peers. It’s never too early to start working on motor skills. There is no “wait and see” for me! Early intervention is key for developing efficient stability and mobility. On the flip side it’s also never too late. I welcome those kiddos who have treatment challenges or who plateaued in traditional physical therapy settings. I will provide a fresh perspective and approach to developing their motor skills to help them meet their highest functional potential.

I can’t wait to help your little one make STEADY STRIDES!
