During your chiropractic consultation, you’ll first sit down with Dr. Otteman, and go through a comprehensive health history. For mothers and children, we’ll start at pregnancy and end with future goals. Together, you’ll connect the dots to uncover the big picture as it pertains to you and/or your child’s body, development and mobility. In pediatric consultations, Dr. Otteman will specifically look for any red flags and/or bodily signals such as latching issues, constipation, not rolling both ways or other asymmetries.

Then, before starting treatment, you’ll receive a detailed explanation on what a chiropractic adjustment entails and why it’s important. Dr. Otteman will walk you through each part of the adjustment and all the tools that he may use, plus answer any other questions you may have!

At the end of your visit, he will go over his recommendations and collaborate with you to decide on a plan of care that works best for you and your child’s needs and goals.
